southern degree audit heuristics report
A heuristic report is great way to analyze the ways a site could be improved from its current state from a UI/UX stand point. The university I graduated from has an atrocious looking degree audit page that is confusing, dense, and hard to move around in. As apart of a senior project, I was to perform a thorough analysis, come up with ways to improve the usability and information architecture, then come up with a prototype that solves the problems I had discovered. Unfortunately, there was not enough time in the class to finish the entire project before the end of the school year in the spring. As such, I am left with only this report. I feel that it still gives a good showing on how I go about analyzing current systems for flaws and then my process to go about suggesting improvements to fix and enhance the current system.
